Professional Experience
Tad Egawa joined McDonough Holland & Allen’s Real Estate Practice Group in 2007. Tad’s practice focuses on real estate transactions, with an emphasis on the negotiation and documentation of real estate acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and subleasing transactions, and other real estate-related transactions.
Prior Experience
Tad brings to McDonough the in-house legal perspective of a Fortune 500 company, having most-recently served three years as Assistant General Counsel for one of the nation’s largest homebuilders. In that role, he reviewed, negotiated and approved real estate acquisition, disposition, development, loan and due diligence documents. In addition, Tad provided analysis and advice on a wide range of related real estate and general corporate issues.
From 1996-2003, Tad was an Associate Attorney for several full-service Los Angeles firms. He had significant experience negotiating and documenting real estate acquisitions and dispositions, and also represented landlords and tenants in numerous office, industrial and retail leasing and subleasing transactions.
Prior to attending law school, Tad served as a Senior Research Analyst for a boutique litigation support practice where he provided research and analytical support in preparation of expert testimony in antitrust and business litigation.
