Originally from the Midwest, Dr. Krell received her undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering at Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio and subsequently earned her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. She completed her internship and residency training in internal medicine at Duke University, and completed her fellowship training in Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Washington in 2003. Dr. Krell spent a year living in New Zealand, working as a Respiratory Medicine Specialist. This position combined outpatient pulmonary and sleep medicine, hospital based internal medicine and teaching responsibilities for trainee physicians. Dr. Krell is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Returning to this area, Dr. Krell joined Southlake Clinic in 2004.
