Before joining Malloy as a Human Resources manager, I worked in a number of technical and project management positions while employed at General Motors for nearly twenty years. At GM, I gained valuable experience working with customers throughout the US, with GM employees effecting critical changes in manufacturing environments, and with my technical peers involved in measurement engineering projects.I completed a degree in Psychology at the University of Michigan in 1983. I enjoyed volunteering in local service organizations such as Safe House and LACASA, and knew that I wanted to learn how innovative managers best guide their organizations. While attending GM's graduate Management of Technology program at Rennsalear Polytechnic University in New York during the late '90's, I learned that the study of human resources and innovation captivated me. I hoped to work eventually in an environment where I could better effect positive change, which seemed slow and arduous at GM. Therefore, I was delighted to join Malloy, where dedicated employees truly care and work together to bring about the long-term health of the company.I am proud to work for Malloy. Malloy employees are enthusiastic and work hard to produce quality books for our customers. Malloy is known as an employer of choice for book manufacturing professionals and readily attracts new recruits while retaining experienced employees. |
