Ms. Kalutkiewicz is a Shareholder in Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck’s Real Estate Group. Based in the firm’s Denver office, her practice focuses on complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, development, leasing and financing.
Ms. Kalutkiewicz has represented clients in numerous real estate transactions throughout the United States. These include the sale of hotel and condominium development sites in several states for a major hospitality corporation; the $214 million financing of a seven-building high-rise office complex in Los Angeles; the $168 million financing of a Park Avenue office building in New York; the $127.5 million acquisition financing of six office buildings in various locations in New Jersey; the $20 million acquisition financing of 32 restaurants in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia; and participation in a $70 million loan for redevelopment of McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento.
Ms. Kalutkiewicz has also represented companies in complex acquisitions, including the Gates Rubber Company industrial site in Denver by a nationally recognized environmental remediation and redevelopment company, a development site for a large hospital and medical center in the Denver metropolitan area, and sites in Denver’s Stapleton Redevelopment Project.
In addition, Ms. Kalutkiewicz has piloted loan portfolio acquisitions, including due diligence review and documentation for a $143 million portfolio of 50 industrial property loans in 14 states, a $38 million portfolio of six mobile home park loans in three states, and a $10 million portfolio of 11 convenience store loans in two states. She has also managed the sale, leasing, financing and general real estate matters for multiple portfolio companies, including a national nursery chain, an airport parking provider and a landscape equipment manufacturer. |
