Professional Summary
Ms. von Türk’s practice focuses on commercial transaction, corporate financing, mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructurings. She also functions as general counsel for a number of corporate clients from German-speaking countries, and advises foreign clients, including start-ups, on the establishment and operation of their U.S. affiliates.
Ms. von Türk’s experience includes transactions in a wide range of industries, such as media, software, tourism and manufacturing. She concentrates her practice on cross-border transactions, as well as transnational litigation. Ms. von Türk also represents clients in all areas of employment law, including discrimination claims and executive contract disputes. In this context, she also assists corporate clients in the conduct of internal investigations and in establishing policies essential to litigation avoidance.
Ms. von Türk clerked with the Commission of the European Union in Brussels, Belgium and with the Court of Appeals in Hamburg, Germany. She also worked as a research associate with the Max-Planck-Institute for Foreign and Private International Law in Hamburg, Germany.
