Susan Orbuch, vice president of Corporate Marketing, is responsible for company marketing, branding and research, as well as analyst and public relations worldwide.
She has been with Trend Micro for more than ten years, starting out in North American Marketing heading up analyst and public relations during the era of fast moving and highly publicized email-borne viruses such as Melissa and the I Love You worm. Orbuch was promoted to global director of Communications and spearheaded development of the company’s global communications red alert process for responding to virus outbreaks. In 2005, Susan stepped into a special projects role in the CEO’s office and managed numerous global, cross-functional projects, including the integration of the antispyware company, InterMute, which Trend Micro acquired in 2005. In 2007, Orbuch assumed the role of vice president of Corporate Marketing.
Prior to joining Trend Micro, Orbuch worked as an urban planning, design, communications and management consultant throughout California and a land use and natural resource preservation planner in New England.
Orbuch holds a Master’s degree in City Planning from MIT and a Bachelors of Science in Conservation and Resource Studies from the University of California, Berkeley.
