Susan has worked with MBS since 2003 to deliver consultative strategic services to our multi-channel retail clients. Susan has been involved in direct-to-consumer marketing since 1975, with experience in all retail channels including stores, catalog, direct mail, email, telemarketing, and Internet.Susan's past experience comprises more than 12 years at Bloomingdale's, where she was Senior Vice President of Marketing. While at Bloomingdale's, Susan was responsible for such major initiatives as delivering online marketing database access to the store level and the development, testing, and execution of loyalty. Additionally, Susan was responsible for customer relationship management programs, which consisted of the establishment of Bloomingdale's Internet presence with bloomingdales.com, as well as the design and execution of numerous analytical projects that advanced Bloomingdale's customer understanding and created benchmarks for ongoing success. Susan's experience also includes strategic and account management positions with ad agencies such as Jordan, Manning, Taylor, Case & McGrath, and Bloom & Gelb, both in New York City. There she worked on an array of accounts, including Coach, Nestle Foods, and Weight Watchers International. Susan has lectured on marketing and advertising at Hofstra University, Baruch College, and Queens College. She has spoken at many national conferences, including the DMA Annual Conference, NCDM, the Retail Advertising Conference, and Etailing Conference. She is an Emeritus Board Member of the National Retail Federation's Shop.Org on-line organization. Susan is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University, from which she holds a BA in Communications/Marketing. |
