Susan Cohen’s work covers a broad range of tax transactions, including mortgage- and asset-backed securitizations, structuring of real estate and other investment funds, acquisitions and reorganizations, bankruptcy restructurings, financial products, and swaps with foreign counterparts. She provides for the general tax planning needs of businesses, tax-exempt organizations, individuals and other entities under federal, state and local tax laws. Ms. Cohen co-authored tax modules that have been widely used in negotiating the appropriate tax representations and related tax form requests in ISDA agreements.
