As Vice President and Director of Operations for SRA's Global Health Sector, Susan Acker-Walsh supports all facets of Sector operations, including directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.
Prior to joining SRA in the acquisition of Constella Group, LLC, in August 2007, Acker-Walsh held a variety of senior leadership roles in such areas as corporate, organization, and people development; integration of acquisitions; strategic planning; and corporate compliance programs.
Acker-Walsh served as vice president of corporate development at Constella Group for several years. Prior to that, she co-founded and served as president, chief executive officer, and chairwoman of the board of Blue292, a provider of software solutions for crisis information management and environmental, health, and safety systems. She also served as director of sales and marketing for Triangle Laboratories, Inc. and as vice president and corporate secretary for Entropy, Inc.
Acker-Walsh has served on several boards, including The Council for Entrepreneurial Development, North Carolina Electronics and Information Technology Association, and the Carolina Environmental Program. She has also received numerous awards, including the 2001 Governor's Award as Outstanding Entrepreneur, sponsored by North Carolina Technological Development Authority.
