Susan M. Hoaglund is a member of the Securities Practice Group in the Milwaukee office. Her practice has an emphasis on investment advisers, investment companies and broker-dealers. Susan co-authored a chapter on mutual fund distribution in a book on mutual fund regulation, published by the Practicing Law Institute in summer 2002.
Prior to joining Godfrey & Kahn, Susan practiced securities and banking law at Firstar Corporation, where her responsibilities included providing legal support for a registered investment adviser and a registered broker-dealer.
Susan graduated with distinction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and was selected for Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School and was selected for Order of the Coif. Following law school, Susan served as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert W. Warren, Chief Judge of the Eastern District of Wisconsin.
