Susan Landon is a Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa’s in-house practice in New York. With a focus on General Counsel and other senior attorney searches for corporate clients, she is adept at partnering with her clients to clearly define their in-house legal recruiting needs.
Susan has 20 years executive recruiting experience gained at Russell Reynolds Associates, Korn/Ferry International, and other global executive search firms. She has worked with executives both within and outside the legal function across a broad range of industries at large and small companies world-wide. She has worked extensively on international and cross-border searches and is adept at facilitating cross-cultural communication and understanding. She is also committed to MLA’s diversity efforts and is an active proponent of inclusive search for all of her clients.
Born and raised in the Midwest, Susan earned a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is a CPA. She spent eight years with Price Waterhouse before moving into executive search.
Susan lives in Westchester County, New York, with her husband and two young daughters. When not seeking top notch attorneys for her clients, she is actively involved with her daughters’ sports and school activities and is the leader of a Girl Scout troop in her community. |
