With more than 25 years in the field of finance with such notable organizations as Honeywell International and MTS Systems Corporation, Ms. Knight has a deep understanding of the role sound financial principles play in the long-term health and viability of a company. As VP Finance/Controller of Honeywell's Home and Building division, she took on an Oracle implementation that affected six manufacturing locations while still being recognized for achieving the lowest cost of finance within Honeywell. As Honeywell's Global CFO for Honeywell's Home and Building Controls division, Ms. Knight oversaw revenues of $5 billion annually.
Ms. Knight is currently the CFO of MTS Systems Corporation, where she has added the financial management responsibilities for treasury, tax, IT and legal to her experience in operations finance, as well as ensuring MTS compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and SEC requirements. She brings to PLATO Learning's Board Director - CFO/Software position financial experience in the manufacturing and software industries, an understanding of corporate acquisition and restructuring, and a willingness to take on professional challenges.
A native of Des Moines, Iowa and a graduate of Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska, Ms. Knight also serves on the board of the Greater Metropolitan Housing Corporation.
