Susan E. Allen is Vice President Investor Relations, Secretary and Treasurer of UIL Holdings Corporation. She is responsible for shareowner services, corporate secretary administration, and investor relations.
She is a native of Northford, Connecticut and earned a bachelors degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, and a masters degree in Finance from the University of New Haven.
Ms. Allen began her career at The United Illuminating Company in 1983. She served in accounting until 1986 then moved into finance as a manager then director. Ms. Allen assumed her present position; VP Investor Relations, Corporate Secretary and Assistant Treasurer in August 2000.
Additionally, Ms. Allen is a member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries and the National Investor Relations Institute. She also is on the Board of Directors for the Ronald McDonald House. |
