Susan Brainin-Martin is President and founder of Leading Edge Consulting, Inc. Leading Edge is devoted to the development and advancement of information technology careers and has served the software consulting and information systems recruitment industry for over twenty years. Susan's love for technology was realized while serving as an applications programmer at NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center. She participated in the Junior Year Abroad program at the Sorbonne in Paris and attended Montgomery College and the University of Colorado, beginning her career as a publicist for A&M Records. Susan finds it truly gratifying to play an important role in the career development of so many talented information technology professionals. It is most rewarding to assist an information systems department or software vendor in identifying and hiring talented managers and technical professionals that are so integral to their success. This is a profession that brings people together, molds careers and contributes to a company's bottom-line. Susan loves this business of people and technology, but when not working, she enjoys travel, playing piano, horseback riding and snow and water skiing with her husband.
