Susan Rodriguez is an associate in the Cerritos office of Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo. She represents employers in all aspects of labor relations and employment law, including discrimination, retaliation, harassment and wrongful termination claims, wage and hour disputes, as well as Workers Compensation retaliation and willful misconduct claims. Ms. Rodriguez also has experience prosecuting and defending unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, employee raiding, employee sabotage, and improper client solicitation claims. She provides advice and counsel to employers on human resources issues such as hiring, discipline, administration of company policies, workplace violence, termination, and reduction in force. Ms. Rodriguez negotiates and drafts employment, confidentiality, noncompete and separation agreements, and employee handbooks. Ms. Rodriguez provides education and training for management on prevention of harassment, discrimination and retaliation.
