Suresh Vasudevan is a senior vice president at NetApp, and the general manager of the Decru Business Unit at NetApp. Suresh is responsible for overseeing the Decru product strategy, as well as participating in strategic business planning and development for Decru product offerings. Suresh joined NetApp in 1999 as senior manager of Business Development and later became director of Strategic Alliances. In these roles, he helped establish and manage alliances with OEMs and led partner initiatives with global systems integrators and channel partners. As senior director of Software, Suresh also managed product marketing, planning, and strategic partnerships for the Systems and Application Software division of NetApp. Before joining NetApp, Suresh worked at the management consulting firm McKinsey & Co. in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chicago as a senior engagement manager, focusing on product marketing, operations, and marketing strategy. Suresh holds a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) in Pilani, India. He also holds a master of business administration degree from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Calcutta, India. |
