Sungjin Kang is an associate in Milbank's Hong Kong and a member of the Global Project Finance Group.
His recent transactions include the representation of Hynix Semiconductor Inc. in the Phase 1 and 2 financing of its 8" and 12" wafer fabrication facility project in China; STIC Investment's various Middle Eastern investment fund transactions involving investors from Saudi Arabia and Bahrain; CCMP Capital and Affinity Equity Partners in their sale of Mando Corporation to a consortium of Korean purchasers; a major Korean conglomerate in its project financing transaction in Russia; and other various project finance transactions.
Sungjin is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he received a B.S. in Economics. He received his J.D. from Columbia University School of Law. Sungjin is admitted to practice in the State of New York and the State of California. Sungjin is a native Korean speaker and reads and writes Korean fluently. |
