Suku V. Radia is Vice President Chief Financial Officer of Meredith Corporation. He joined the company March 1, 2000.
Prior to joining Meredith, Radia had served as Managing Partner of KPMG in Des Moines since 1993. During his tenure at KPMG, Radia counseled senior management of national and international companies on a number of financial issues, including strategic alliances, acquisitions, mergers and strategic planning.
Radia earned a Bachelor's of Science degree in Accounting with distinction from Iowa State University in 1974 and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1975, the same year he joined KPMG's Des Moines office. He is a nationally recognized tax expert, having served on the Internal Revenue Service Commissioner's Advisory Group, a select 18-member national panel. He also is active in a wide variety of professional, economic development, educational and charitable organizations.
Born and raised in Kampala, Uganda, Radia came to the United States in 1971 to attend Iowa State University. Currently, he resides in West Des Moines, Iowa, with his wife, Dr. Mary Radia, and their three children. |
