Sudip K. Kundu is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Washington, D.C. office. He is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department and concentrates his practice on patent litigation.
Prior to joining the Firm, Sudip was in private practice working on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications in the electrical, mechanical and computer software arts. In addition, Sudip assisted in an intellectual property due diligence study and gained experience in trade secret misappropriation and trademark infringement cases.
Sudip earned his J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law, and his bachelors of science degree in electrical engineering from University of Illinois. While in law school, Sudip served as an Editor and a Staff Member of Saint Louis University Law Journal. He also participated in Moot Court I and II, and served as an extern to the Honorable David R. Herndon, United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. In addition, Sudip also received the Grainger Outstanding Power Engineering Award while at the University of Illinois.
Sudip is a member of the state bar of the District of Columbia and Missouri.
