Sturdivant Wilson thrives on helping companies build their greatest asset their people. Perhaps her biggest strength in recruiting is her understanding of the type of candidate that makes a true culture fit for the client.
She focuses on each candidate individually, learning their background as well as their career aspirations. Ms. Wilson’s ability to easily build rapport and trust further opens the dialogue, thereby helping clients build productive teams in critical areas. She works extensively with clients in civil and structural engineering, construction and building products, finance and sales.
Ms. Wilson was promoted to her current position with in a year of joining the Bell Oaks team in 2005. Prior to that, she served as the Director of Purchasing for Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta. She was a key member of the museum’s grand opening team responsible for developing educational programming as well as building profit centers in the retail store and auxiliary programs.
Ms. Wilson graduated from the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business with an emphasis in Retailing/Merchandising. Following an internship in Haute Couture in Paris, she began her career in Atlanta with Federated Department Stores when she joined their executive training program. Ms. Wilson is a leader in the youth community serving five years as a volunteer leader with Young Life in Atlanta mentoring high school girls.
