Stuart Shepherd advises on a range of economic, financial and valuation issues, particularly on regulation, competition and contract design in the telecommunications, electricity, gas, airport, seaport and water sectors. Many of his projects involve integrating economic concepts and financial modelling.
His previous employment includes Business Development Manager at Vector Ltd, Manager Costing and Economics at Telecom New Zealand, and senior analyst positions at the New Zealand Treasury.
He holds a Master of Commerce and Administration (first-class Honours) in Economics, Finance and Accounting from Victoria University of Wellington, a Bachelor of Management Studies (first-class Honours) from the University of Waikato, and is a Chartered Accountant.
