Stuart Grief is vice president strategy and business development for Textron Inc. In this role, Grief works closely with senior leadership across the enterprise in creating and implementing business unit and corporate strategies that drive growth, profitability, and shareholder value creation. In addition to leading Textron's cross-enterprise Strategy Council, Grief is also a corporate officer and a member of Textron's Transformation Leadership Team, comprised of the top executives of the corporation.
Prior to joining Textron in July 2004, Grief served as a vice president and director at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). During his 14-year tenure at BCG, he was a senior member of the U.S. Industrial Goods and Automotive practices and a leader of the Corporate Finance and Strategy practice. His extensive expertise in the areas of business development, market and portfolio strategy and operations includes client work in market segmentation, growth strategies, and restructuring and business integration. Grief also led BCG's recruiting activities in Boston for five years.
Grief holds a BA with honors in economics and computer science from Brandeis University and an MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan School of Management. |
