On behalf of an investment bank, Stuart was primarily responsible for analyzing the client's liability as the agent for $3.5 billion of syndicated credit facilities, which has entailed researching various legal issues and reviewing and analyzing revolving credit agreements, loan assignments and transfer documentation.
Stuart also defended depositions and assisted in preparing witnesses for depositions. He has assisted with pro bono representation of restaurant workers in a wage claim action by researching and writing legal memoranda, drafting pleadings and motions, interviewing clients and participating in strategy conferences.
During law school, Stuart served as a legal intern for the District Attorney's Office, in the Appeals Bureau. He also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jacob Mishler in the Eastern District of New York.
Prior to law school, Stuart served as a legislative intern for United States Representative Gary Ackerman of New York. |
