Mr. Coppens joined WAUSAU Financial Systems in October of 2006, after 28 years of finance and administration responsibilities in both privately held and publicly traded companies.
Prior to joining WAUSAU Financial Systems, Mr. Coppens was Chief Financial Officer for 101communications, LLC, a multi-national information technology magazine publishing company in Chatsworth, CA. Mr. Coppens previously was Chief Accounting Officer for IXC Communications, Inc./Broadwing Communications, Inc., an integrated communications services provider in Austin, TX.
Previously, Mr. Coppens served in financial management positions at both the corporate level and with subsidiaries for the Times Mirror Company, a diversified media and information company in Los Angeles, CA, with significant interests in newspapers, publishing and cable television. His roles at Times Mirror included Chief Accounting Officer for Times Mirror, Chief Financial Officer of Matthew Bender, Inc., Vice President-Finance of Richard D. Irwin, Inc. and Director of Accounting for Times Mirror Cable Television, Inc.
Mr. Coppens has a BS in Accounting from California State University - Fullerton, and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. |
