Steven Zitter is an accounting professional with broad experience in budgeting, financial reporting and staff management for companies with multiple locations, as well as firms with foreign subsidiaries. He joined Senior Living Residences in 2006 as Vice President of Finance & Controller. Mr. Zitter is responsible for safeguarding company assets for 10 operating assisted living communities, as well as the corporate entity of Senior Living Residences and its affiliates. In his role, Mr. Zitter develops and implements financial controls, policies and procedures and manages all financial reporting to owners, investors and lenders. Mr. Zitter heads up the Finance Department, managing the staff and overseeing general accounting, billing, and accounts payable/receivable functions, as well as project-based staff responsible for expense and revenue functions. Prior to joining SLR, Mr. Zitter held various management and senior finance positions in the healthcare, sales & rental and manufacturing industries. While functioning in these capacities, he played major roles in implementing accounting controls and policies for improving financial reporting and overall operational performance.
