Steven Waszak was most recently Chief Financial and Operating Officer of Optical Ethernet systems provider Internet Photonics, a spin-out of Lucent / Bell Laboratories, which was acquired by CIENA Corporation in 2004. Waszak also served as CFO / COO of Sonoma Systems, which was acquired by Nortel Networks in 2000. Steven Waszak has over 15 years of executive management and operations experience within the networking and communications industries, with responsibilities for manufacturing, finance, customer care, sales and business development teams on strategic partnerships; including the position of Chief Financial Officer at Retix (NASDAQ listed). Steven began his career at Deloitte & Touche LLP where he held the position of Senior Manager working in the firm's high-tech Entrepreneurial Services Group. |
