Mr. Taslitz co-founded Sterling Partners in 1983, and currently is the Senior Managing Director of the firm. He has been involved in all of the firm’s private equity investments and has been responsible for the firm’s strategic planning and investment policy. In addition to overseeing the firm’s growth and investment strategies, he has worked with the CEOs of many Sterling Partners portfolio companies to establish and implement corporate growth strategies and high-value exit strategies. Steven sits on the Boards of the following portfolio companies: Florida Coastal School of Law, Artromick International, The Becker Group, Gray Supply, and Atlantic Premium Brands. He also sits on the investment committees of Sterling Venture Partners (Sterling’s venture capital fund) and Sterling Real Estate Partners. Steven is active in several nonprofit organizations, including the Retinitis Pigmentosa Board, the University of Illinois Business Advisory Council, and is the current President of the Glencoe Educational Foundation. He also has received an appointment to The Illinois Board of Higher Education by Illinois Governor Rod R. Blagojevich. Steven received a BS in accountancy with honors from the University of Illinois. |
