Steven’s career to date has seen him specialize in corporate finance and real estate transactions, involving capital raising assignments for private companies across a range of sectors, capital raising for US private equity funds, the sale of private Australian businesses and business units, and advisory, analysis, and subsequent capital raise for real estate development projects. He joined iQ Venture Partners in 2005. Before coming to the USA, Steve worked for four years with boutique firm Rayner & Associates in Perth, Australia. Prior to that he was a sales manager for Jetset Travel in Perth for five years. Jetset is one of the largest travel franchises in Australia.
Steven has a broad experience base centered around corporate finance and real estate, having initiated and facilitated real estate and leasehold business sale transactions with clients based in (in addition to Australia and the USA) Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Britain, and South Africa.
He holds a Diploma of Financial Services from the Financial Services Institute of Australia and will complete the Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment: Corporate Finance in 2007, also at FINSIA. Steven holds a Series 7, Series 66, NY State Real Estate and NY State Insurance Licenses, and West Australian Real Estate and Business Brokers licenses. He is also trustee of an equity and currency investment trust for Australian associates.
Steven is a world-traveler, leads a very active lifestyle, and lives in Manhattan with his wife. |
