Steven attended the University of Hawaii and graduated with a BSEE from California State University, Northridge. His career began as an Antenna Design Engineer for Tecom Industries. The experience he gained in the RF field led him to acquire engineering management positions at California Microwave and Transco Products, Inc. In 1989 he co-founded Micro Pulse, Inc. an antenna/amplifier design and manufacturing company which would become a technological leader in the newly developing GPS field. He was granted numerous patent awards and oversaw other patent developments which lead to various commercial project designs and products. After he drove the company to the top of the GPS industry, Micro Pulse, Inc. was sold to the Chicago based Andrew Corporation in 2001. Within a year of this event his entrepreneurial drive compelled him to form Mica-Tech, Inc. a satellite based power grid management company. |
