Steve Nelson joined Siebert Brandford Shank as a Vice President in January 2007. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Nelson worked for M. R. Beal & Company where he provided analytical and technical support on numerous transactions for state and local municipal issuers in the Midwest and East Coast. Earlier in his career, he spent three years at NatWest Markets in the Public Finance Group providing letters of credit to cities, states and student loan providers.Mr. Nelson earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Williams College, an MPA degree in Public Finance from New York University and an MBA degree in Finance from Columbia Business School.
