Steven King founded Data Intensity along with two other software industry veterans to help corporations manage their enterprise applications and databases more efficiently and cost-effectively. As the company's chief technology officer, he formulates Data Intensity's technical vision and manages its long-term IT strategy. King has more than 15 years experience in the software industry and has an extensive background in enterprise databases and applications. Prior to founding Data Intensity, he held a variety of technical positions at Oracle Corporation and designed and managed the technical architecture of hundreds of New England-based firms. His valuable contributions at Oracle earned him recognition as one of the company's top technical resources and he received numerous achievement awards. King was a principal instructor for all Oracle core RDBMS courses and a major contributor to the design of Oracle Education's Oracle8 database curriculum and the Oracle Certified Professional exam. He remains active with the Oracle community as a frequent speaker at Oracle applications and database user groups. King started his career as a technology consultant for Legent Corporation, which was later acquired by Computer Associates. King holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from University of New Hampshire. |
