Steven Hughes joins Granite Peak Partners as the Chief Financial Officer where he will oversee the financial operations of the firm and be involved in the development of two strategic business units within Granite Peak: industrial focused syndications catering to real estate investors, and the company's real estate advisory services division for high net worth individuals and family foundations seeking to reposition holdings through 1031 exchanges and portfolio management strategies. Steven Hughes brings over 25 years of professional financial experience to Granite Peak Partners. Prior to joining Granite Peak Partners, Hughes was President of Hughes Financial Resources, Inc., a Santa Barbara real estate consulting firm responsible for financial analysis, acquisition analysis and financial structuring for a variety of projects including senior housing, hotels, apartments, condominiums, office buildings, retail properties, steel factories and oil and gas properties. Prior to that, Hughes was Chief Financial Officer for JM Consulting Group, Inc., a real estate services/telecommunications consulting company in Santa Barbara. Over his career, Mr. Hughes has completed debt financing totaling over $180 million and equity financing totaling over $60 million. Steve Hughes oversees financing and due diligence functions within the firm. Vice President of Finance, Simpson Housing Corporation - A developer of multi-family housing throughout the U.S. where he lead the acquisition analysis, feasibility, and finance departments.
