Steven Firkser is counsel to the firm in its Real Estate Department and member of the Land Use Practice Group and Redevelopment Practice Group. He concentrates his practice in commercial real estate and financing. Mr. Firkser has significant experience in the representation of developers, institutional and asset-based lenders in a variety of business and commercial real estate transactions. He has extensive experience in the acquisition, financing and disposition of commercial properties and business assets and in preparing and presenting land use applications. Mr. Firkser also has substantial experience counseling debtors, creditors and trustees in federal and state insolvency proceedings. A graduate, summa cum laude, of Rutgers University (1980), Mr. Firkser received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School (1983). He is co-author of the article, "Lease Obligations Don't End After Rejection," New Jersey Law Journal, (1998). Mr. Firkser is a member of the American and New Jersey Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in New Jersey. |
