Steven Craddock is senior vice president of New Media Development for Comcast Corporation where he is responsible for the evaluation and development of new interactive multimedia and interactive technologies. He also serves as Comcast's representative to CableLabs®, a research and development consortium sponsoring industry initiatives such as the DOCSIS®, Packet Cable and Cable Home standards. At CableLabs, he is a voting member of the DOCSIS and PacketCable certification boards.
Prior to this position, Mr. Craddock was with Bell Atlantic Corporation in a career that spanned twenty years across diverse engineering, operations, marketing and strategic planning functions. In his last assignment, he was the vice president for Broadband Network Ventures and a principal technology figure in cable television and interactive television development activity. He was also one of the founding members and an executive of Bell Atlantic Video Services.
Mr. Craddock has also served as the CEO of a software development company, has consulted in the fields of engineering and computer services, performed due diligence for venture capital work and has served on the advisory boards of numerous companies. |
