Leading our clinical oversight and scientific research is Dr. Steven Bolling, M.D., an internationally recognized cardiac surgeon at the University of Michigan Cardiovascular Center, and professor of surgery at the U-M Medical School. Dr. Bolling is an international expert in mitral valve disease and is the co-inventor of the GeoForm ring, a device that alters the size and shape of the left ventricle allowing the mitral valve to close properly. Dr. Bolling has a special interest in complementary/alternative medicine and disease prevention. As co-founder of the University of Michigan’s Complementary and Alternative Medicine Research Center, funded by the National Institutes of Health, he has published over 200 research studies. Dr. Bolling also fulfills the role of external advisor involved in reviewing health coaching protocols, pharmacotherapy protocols, health content, and product development. |
