Steven Blum is a managing director in the FTI Forensic and Litigation Consulting practice and is based in King of Prussia. Mr. Blum is an accounting professional with extensive experience in accounting and auditing. He has led audit engagements in a variety of industries, including real estate development, manufacturing, insurance and financial services. Mr. Blum’s current areas of focus include forensic accounting investigations and professional liability.
Prior to joining FTI, Mr. Blum was a senior manager at Ten Eyck Associates. Before Ten Eyck, Mr. Blum was a senior accountant for both local and international public accounting firms. For the past 10 years, he has been practicing litigation consulting involving class action litigation, internal corporate investigations, forensic accounting investigations and damage assessment work.
Mr. Blum has published more than a dozen articles on GAAP, GAAS and fraud issues. He is a member of the AICPA, the Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Mr. Blum holds a B.S. in accounting and finance from Drexel University. He was the recipient of the Drexel Accounting Department’s Leadership and Service Award and admitted as a member of the Honor Society for Collegiate Schools of Business and the National Accounting Honor Society. He is a certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner. |
