Steven W. Hart has served on our board of directors since 1999. Mr. Hart is the owner and President of Hart Capital LLC, a private investment fund that invests primarily in the education sector, which is the managing member of Five Mile River Capital Partners LLC. Mr. Hart has more than 20 years of experience as a principal investing in and managing companies in a wide range of industries, and has actively served in several non-for-profit capacities. From 1995 to 2003, her served as Chairman of the investment Advisory Council which advises the State Treasurer regarding the management of the State of Connecticut Retirement Plans & Trust Funds. From 1996 to 2003, he served as Trustee and then Chairman of the Stanford University Business School Endowment Trust. Mr. Hart is on the Board of Trustees of the South Street Seaport Museum and of Emagination Foundation, Inc. Mr. Hart received a B.A. in Mathematics and Economics from Wesleyan University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. |
