Dr. Cooley is a healthcare executive with 25 years of experience in C-level healthcare management with an emphasis on multi-state, multi-site, entrepreneurial/start-up opportunities. After completing his residency training and obtaining board certification in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Cooley began his business career with Spectrum Healthcare, a subsidiary of ARAMark . While there he served as Executive VP / General Manager and began two de-novo start-ups, SYNERGON and Government Healthcare Services, which provided emergency and ambulatory care services to over 1,000,000 patients annually in 30 locations in 15 states. Dr. Cooley then served as Executive VP of Operations for EmCare, a company that provided emergency and ambulatory care services to over 3,000,000 patients annually in 140 locations in 30 states. Following a successful IPO and rapid growth and expansion, Dr. Cooley accepted a position as CEO of USCardioVascular, a cardiovascular start-up focused on outpatient diagnostic facility development. Dr. Cooley received his Medical Doctorate from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. |
