Steven S. Shonder is an associate whose practice concentrates on antitrust litigation and counseling. He has been involved in major antitrust actions in the health care and pharmaceutical industries and other regulated industries. A substantial part of his antitrust practice concerns the existence of market power in the health care industry in connection with hospital mergers and managed care contracting. He was recently listed in Nightingale's Healthcare News list of outstanding Healthcare Antitrust Lawyers - 2006.
Steven's practice in private and governmental civil litigation, in addition to concentrating in antitrust matters, concerns a wide variety of corporate issues including employment, employee recruiting, contracts and various business torts. Steve has tried cases, conducted evidentiary hearings, argued substantive matters in the state and federal courts around the country and has appeared before NASD arbitration tribunals in connection with requests for injunction relief.
Steven is a member of the American Bar Association, Antitrust Section and is a regular contribution to the ABA's Antitrust Developments Annual Supplement. Steven is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association. |
