Steven Prince focuses his practice on complex business and construction litigation, as well as land use and bankruptcy litigation matters. Steve’s experience includes a recent contract dispute with more than $700 million in claims. In construction disputes he has represented general contractors, owners, a steel erector, a pre-cast concrete fabricator, and design professionals in mediations, arbitrations and court proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Steven practiced as a trial attorney at Dorsey & Whitney LLP for almost four years. He has been a CLE presenter concerning the interplay of bankruptcy and lien laws, and has successful first-chair experience before the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Minnesota District Courts and the American Arbitration Association. Steve has twice been named a "Rising Star" by his peers, as noted in Minnesota Law & Politics. In addition to his litigation practice, he is also a certified civil mediator in Minnesota.
Before practicing law, Steven clerked for two years for the Honorable Dennis D. O’Brien, Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, District of Minnesota.
