Steve Horton is a senior vice president and the chief risk officer for the Seattle Bank. He is responsible for the bank’s enterprise-wide risk management functions.
Prior to becoming the CRO in July 2005, Mr. Horton served as interim chief financial officer since October 2004 a role he assumed after working as the Seattle Bank’s chief credit officer. Horton joined the Seattle Bank in 1986 as a senior financial analyst. After leaving the bank in 1989 to work for a large Seattle-based financial institution, he returned to the Seattle Bank in 1992 to lead the asset/liability management section until he was promoted to the senior vice president and chief credit officer position in 2003.
He earned his bachelor's degree in finance from the Seattle University in 1982. |
