Steve is responsible for structured products and insurance-linked securities, based in Fox-Pitt Kelton Cochran Caronia Waller’s New York office. Prior to joining FPKCCW, Steve worked for 10 years in the Los Angeles and London offices of Special Risk Services (SRS) and Aon Capital Markets from 1991 to 2000, where he specialized in arranging financial guaranty insurance for structured finance clients worldwide. From 1998 to 2000, he managed the company’s London-based asset-backed finance team. In 2000, Steve joined ACA Financial Guaranty Corp. in New York where he was responsible for origination, structuring and underwriting of the company’s non-municipal asset-backed securities business and development of ACA’s structured insurance and risk-linked securities businesses, including industry loss warranty (ILW), weather derivative, trade credit, capital relief and mortgage residual value insurance lines. In 2005, prior to rejoining SRS in 2006, Steve worked for Ritchie Capital in the start-up of a Bermuda-based reinsurance company. Steve holds an MBA in finance and accounting from the University of California at Davis and a BA in economics and Korean language from Brigham Young University. |
