Steven Barrett is a member of the Mergers & Acquisitions and Securities, Corporate, and Land Use Development and Financing Practice Groups in the Chattanooga, Tennessee office of Husch & Eppenberger, LLC.
Steve focuses his practice on the corporate and securities area with emphasis on representation of corporate issuers in financing and securities transactions, corporate governance compliance and SEC reporting. Steve has represented clients in a variety of industries including real estate development, textile and apparel manufacturing, floorcovering, banking, soft drink bottling, trucking and transportation, and grocery retailing. His securities practice has involved representation of the firm's public clients in numerous complex financing and acquisition transactions as well as the representation of smaller businesses and start-up ventures in raising private equity capital.
