Steven P. Moskowitz’ practice includes all areas of traditional commercial real estate including the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing of commercial and residential real estate, with an emphasis in the representation of pension funds and managers, REITs and other institutional investors in connection with debt and equity investments.
Mr. Moskowitz has worked on a number of high profile real estate transactions. Some of his notable representations have included:
· The acquisition and financing of Century Plaza Towers and the ABC Entertainment Center in Los Angeles, California, on behalf of a joint venture consisting of pension funds and insurance company separate accounts;
· The development of a twenty-one story mixed use building in New York City on behalf of the Manhattan School of Music including the issuance by The Trust for Cultural Resources of The City of New York of $49,000,000 of revenue bonds to finance construction;
· The acquisition of thirty-one outlet shopping centers in eighteen states on behalf of a Real Estate Investment Trust;
· A $345,000,000 single asset securitized financing secured by Valley Fair Mall, a super regional mall located in San Jose, California; and
· The development of a twelve story office tower and a two story trading center in Atlanta, Georgia, and the lease of the office tower and trading center to the Mirant Corporation as its corporate headquarters.
