Steven Johnson joined Grail in September 2007 and focuses on marketing and investor relations. Steve has 23 years of experience in the asset management and financial technology sectors. He came to Grail from DLB Capital, LLC, where he was the Partner responsible for investor relations and business development. Prior to joining DLB Capital, he was Executive Vice President and Head of Institutional Distribution with Schroder Investment Management North America (SIMNA). While at SIMNA, Steve was a member of the firm's Executive Board, Management Committee, and Performance Committee and a member of the Global Distribution Executive Committee of Schroder Investment Management Limited. Prior to that, Steve was Vice President and Director of North American Business Development for Marathon-London. He served as President of MarLon Distributors, Inc., an NASD registered broker/dealer. Before Marathon, Steve was Director of North American Business Development for Martin Currie, Inc. While there, he was a Director of Martin Currie Limited, a Board member of Martin Currie Absolute Return Japan Fund, and President of Martin Currie Investor Services, an NASD registered broker/dealer. Steve also served as Director of Marketing for Neuberger & Berman and Global Director of Marketing for INDATA, a service of Gordon, Haskett & Co. Steve currently serves on the National Selection Committee for the Jefferson Scholars Foundation at the University of Virginia. Steve has a BA in History from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. |
