A resident of Dallas for over 24 years Steve is a graduate of Abilene Christian University where he served on the Judicial Board and was president of his fraternity. He also did post-graduate work through the University of North Texas where he obtained his Certified Financial Planner certification. Steve was introduced to business at a young age as he established a lawn service at age 12 and worked for various retail businesses during his teenage years. He now serves as Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of BHCO Capital Management Inc. an independent fee-only investment advisory firm where he provides investment advice and oversees the firm's continued success. Steve was recently selected as one of only two Certified Financial Planner professionals in Dallas to work with clients of Hewitt Associates one of the largest providers of Corporate Retirement and Employee Benefit Plans in the U.S. He believes community banks have a vested interested in the communities they serve and hopes his operational skills within the heavily regulated investment industry as well as his experience providing investment advice will be an asset to T Bank. Steve currently volunteers as Class Agent in the ACU Development Office encouraging alumni to financially support the university. He is also actively involved in several community organizations including his church where he serves in the Worship and Arts Ministry. |
