Steven Kroll concentrates his practice on employment litigation. He has experience defending employers against various discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims. Steven also has experience in suing former employees for breach of contract, unfair competition, conversion, and defamation claims. In addition, he advises employers on handling day-to-day employment matters, such as drafting or revising employment policies and handbooks, and complying with various state and federal employment laws.
Prior to joining Ford & Harrison, Steven maintained an employment litigation practice as an associate at a Los Angeles law firm. Earlier in his career, he practiced general civil litigation as an associate for an Orange County law firm and worked as an in-house law clerk for a large privately-held frozen seafood company.
Steven is a member of the California Bar Association. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Central and Eastern Districts of California, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
During law school, he served as a Staff Writer and then Editor for the Loyola of Los Angeles Entertainment Law Review. Steven also served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Samuel L. Bufford of the United States Bankruptcy Court.
