Steven M. Fox is a Shareholder in the Scottsdale office. He focuses his practice on corporate, estate planning and tax. Mr. Fox has extensive experience in income tax planning, estate and gift taxation, corporate formation and planning, retirement planning, partnership/limited liability company taxation, and IRS tax controversies.
Mr. Fox authored "The Charitable Gifting of Real Estate in Estate Planning," in the Arizona Business and has given various estate planning seminars. He is also working on publishing an Arizona Estate Planning Manual.
He received his B.A. in History from the University of Richmond, Virginia in 1988. He earned his J.D. cum laude in 1993 from Touro Law Center in New York, where he was a member of the law review and authored a constitutional law comment. Following law school, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Herbert S. Glickman in the New Jersey Superior Court. Mr. Fox also received his LL.M with honors in Taxation from Golden Gate University School of Law in San Francisco.
Mr. Fox is very active in the Phoenix area community affairs and is a Board Member of the Scottsdale Healthcare Foundation Financial Advisors. He is also a Board Member of the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council, a Member of the Paradise Valley Estate Planning Group and a National Board Member of Kids at Hope.
