Mr. Tiedemann joined JPBE as General Counsel in 2006. His practice involves most areas of business and corporate law, including business valuations, corporate structuring, business transactions, fiduciary claims, estate law, construction law and government contracting. He has worked with public and private corporations, as well as small familyowned businesses and individuals. Mr. Tiedemann is also an Adjunct Professor at Mt. St. Mary s University where he teaches upper-level courses in Corporate Finance, Managerial Economics, Business Law, Leadership, and Quantitative Methods for Managers. Previously, Mr. Tiedemann was a Partner with the firms of Coover, Barr & Tiedemann, LLC, and Tiedemann and Stesch, LLC. He was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Maryland and served as an Appellate Judicial Clerk for the Honorable Glenn T. Harrell, Jr. on the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. He served with the U.S. Navy during Desert Storm and received the National Defense Service Medal. Mr. Tiedemann holds a Jurist Doctorate with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law, a Masters of Science Administration in Business from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and Mathematics from the University of the State of New York. |
