Steve Gaut is vice president, corporate communications and government relations, a member of the Strategy Board and an officer for Federal-Mogul Corporation.
Prior to joining Federal-Mogul in April 2008, he was director of communications and marketing services for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region and global Powertrain division for Delphi Corporation, based in Paris, France. From 2003 to 2008, Gaut served in roles of increasing responsibility in communications, sales, marketing and planning while based in Europe. Prior to relocating to Europe, he served as corporate director of media relations, and was integral to positioning the Delphi brand during and following the company’s separation from General Motors in 1999.
Gaut also served as director of communications at Delphi Steering Division in Saginaw, Michigan, from 1995 through 1998, and as assistant director of communications at Cadillac Motor Car Division from 1992 to 1995. He served in communications roles at GM Powertrain Division and in communications and labor relations positions at the General Motors Assembly plant in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he joined the company in 1985.
Gaut earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communications from the University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma. |
